Quizit ("Quizit"), operated from Pakistan, explains here how we handle personal information when you use our website and live quiz services.

1. Information we collect

• Account data: email, username, password (stored hashed), signup intent, referral/promo codes.
• Host data: quizzes, questions, player roster (names, employee codes, departments), session reports and leaderboard scores.
• Player data: name/code entered to join a room, answers, scores, and session participation.
• Technical data: logs, IP addresses, and browser/device data needed for security and operation.

2. How we use information

• Provide authentication, live quizzes, scoring, exports, and admin features.
• Send verification and password-recovery emails from our support address.
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
• Comply with legal obligations when required.

3. Email communications

Transactional emails (verification codes, password reset) are sent from Quizit Support via quizitlive01@gmail.com. We do not sell your email address.

4. Where data is stored

Quizit runs on cloud infrastructure (including servers outside Pakistan). Data may be processed in jurisdictions where our hosting providers operate. We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to a SaaS product at this stage.

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We may share data only:

• With infrastructure providers that host the service (under confidentiality).
• When required by law or to protect rights, safety, and platform integrity.
• With your direction (e.g. exporting CSV reports you download).

6. Retention

We keep account and quiz data while your account is active and as needed for reports, billing, and legal compliance. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us.

7. Your choices

• Update profile information in the host admin area where available.
• Request access, correction, or deletion by emailing us.
• Players join voluntarily; hosts are responsible for informing their participants.

8. Children

Quizit is intended for organizations and hosts who manage their own participants. If you believe a minor provided data without appropriate consent, contact us.

9. Pakistan note

Pakistan is developing personal data protection rules. We aim to align with reasonable practices and will update this policy as formal requirements become clear.
